Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Dated for October

Sonic the Hedgehog 4

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1, Sega's brand-new continuation of the classic side-scrolling Sonic series, finally has a release date (via IGN). In fact, it has a lot of release dates, across a lot of platforms. Deep breath.

First, Sonic 4 will be released on the iTunes App Store on October 7. Next, it'll be available on the Wii Shop Channel on October 11 (October 15 for Europe). Then it'll be available on the PlayStation Store on October 12 (13 in Europe), and finally it'll be out worldwide on Xbox Live Arcade on October 13. As for price, it'll be $15 across the board, which works out to 1500 Wii Points, 1200 Microsoft Points, and $14.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 was originally supposed to be released earlier this year, but was delayed for a little more fine-tuning. As for how many more "episodes" we can expect and when we can expect them, Sega hasn't given any details yet.

The Robopocalypse Is Coming For Spielberg

robotapocalypsee.jpg

Consider yourself warned.

Dreamworks has optioned a novel by author Daniel H. Wilson entitled Robopocalypse. The novel won't hit book stores until June, but the smart folks at Dreamworks see that the future isn't zombies - it's robots - and they're jumping on the bandwagon before it even exists!

Word going around is that Steven Spielberg MAY make Robopocalypse his next project.

Here's what a source had to say on the subject:

“With DreamWorks, everything is potentially a Steven project - until it’s not. That’s why everyone’s in a frenzy trying to read it.”

We're glad to hear that, because it means that with or without Steven, this film will eventually get made, and the world will begin to realize that instead of fantasizing about a zombie takeover, they SHOULD be preparing for the imminent robot apocalypse.

We only hope that by the time this film gets released, it's not too late.

How will U prepare for the Robopocalypse?

Free Open Source PS3 (PlayStation 3) Jailbreak (PSGroove)

We saw it coming didn’t we? Why pay $169 for PSJailbreak or even $30 for its clone x3Jailbreak when you can get it all for free? A group of hackers have successfully managed to clone and release open source version of PSJailbreak called PSGroove. What this means is that you will now be able to create your own PS3 (PlayStation 3) jailbreaks to replicate what PSJailbreak can do.

PS3 Hacked

All you ever have to do is to download the code which is available here for free, and then copy it over to a $20 USB development board (AVR HW) of your choice to get started ! Oh and there will soon be a way where you would be able to jailbreak your PS3 by either using a jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch, or TI-84 calculator! How cool is that?
