NOOOOOO BUMBLEBEE!!!

car accident on the set of transformers 3 bumblebee collides with cop car

Those who cross Megan Fox are doomed to pay! (Way to go, Michael Bay!)

This morning, one of the Transformer's biggest stars was in a terrible car crash with a police vehicle. BUMBLEBEE!

The yellow ray of Autobot sunshine collided with the police van after the vehicle drove through the movie's perimeter without anyone's knowledge. We're told that the policeman driving was taken to hospital, but should be alright.

But things could have been a lot worse! The reason that the cop was on set was because of a possible bomb in permiter! The vehicle was actually an Explosives Ordinances Division vehicle!

Uh-huh! Is someone going to out there and make they'v done a full sweep! That's all we need is lose Shia LaBeouf from this movie too!

Dead Nation Online Co-op Confirmed, Special Zombies Revealed

Ladies and gentlemen! Today I would like to confirm that Dead Nation does indeed feature online co-op play! You will be able to team up with your friends either sharing the same couch or via the PlayStation Network against the undead invasion and start blasting thousands of zombies into pieces and piling up the bodies. All of this and much more is included in Dead Nation, check out the Know Your Enemy trailer.

Originally, online co-op wasn’t going to be included as a launch feature, as the schedule and resources didn’t allow it. However, after many late night play testing sessions and long talks with Sony Computer Entertainment, we decided that this was a must-have feature and it would be unfair to you if we launched without it! At this point, our coders went from working 12 hour days to working 16 hour days as well as weekends! Fortunately I think what we came up works really well. Check out these new co-op screenshots and see for yourself!

Dead Nation for PS3: Online co-op

The online co-op fully matches the offline experience. Enjoy the full co-op experience with hundreds of on-screen zombies, huge explosions, blowing up zombies into a plethora of pieces and bloody entrails scattered around.

In addition to the coders working non-stop, the designers and artists felt it was only fair to throw themselves into the mix and created big gameplay levels with tons of replay value, adding weapon upgrade system and cool weapons to bring a new tactical dimension to the gameplay.

Dead Nation will be released exclusively on PSN. Watch this space for further info!

Dead Rising Getting Ported to iPhone

Dead Rising can already be played on the Xbox 360 and Wii, and pretty soon it will be available on the iPod as well.

IGN has posted impressions of the upcoming port, which stars Frank West in his attempt to hold out against the zombie hordes in Willamette Mall. The gameplay will once again revolve around beating down zombies with anything that comes to hand, including bowling balls and toy swords, but the controls have naturally been simplified.

One feature unique to the iPhone version is a makes it possible for friends on Facebook and Twitter to remotely revive a fallen Frank. Dead players can send out rescue calls, after which a friend has a limited amount of time to log on to the Dead Rising app and respond. A successful rescue will mean not losing any PP, though it's still possible to respawn normally.

How Popular is the iPhone Compared to Android, BlackBerry and Others?

Did you know? Apple is worth more than Microsoft! As of writing, Apple is worth a whopping $262.53 billion dollars while Microsoft: $212B. One of the bigger reasons for its increasing stock worth is the iPhone – a smartphone introduced back in 2007 that literally revolutionized the cell phone market. Today, the iPhone is used as a benchmark, as a standard by which the quality of other phones are measured.

But how popular is the iPhone, exactly? It has significant market share in the US, but on an international level, the iPhone only accounts for 2% by brand.

In America, though, it has a nice 28% share (second only to Blackberry’s 35%). Android is also become increasingly popular, but we have to keep in mind that we’re comparing one smartphone – the iPhone – against dozens of Android handsets available on four different national carriers.

BillShrink has produced a very interesting infographic that illustrates the popularity of the iPhone compared to other brands and mobile operating systems. The information is a wee bit outdated, but it still does a pretty bang-up job of explaining stats and figures.
